No, I’m really asking.
(Plus, truth be told, I wanted to get something else posted to bump down the previous post.)
I’m not real celebrity-savvy. I know who the major ones are, but I don’t care about most of them. But in recent years I’ve done a moderate amount of digging around when it comes to celebrities who are TBMC (trauma-based mind control) multiples. I’ve learned and studied a lot of the signs, but I’m admittedly still not that great at it. I think it’s one of those things where I was raised seeing those signs everywhere all the time, so they’re hard for me to catch. I’m just so used to them, they don’t stand out to me.
I’ll be honest: I didn’t want to like Taylor Swift. Besides the fact that I’m probably too old to like her, I tend to be a nonconformist in a lot of areas (shocking, I know). I don’t like things simply because everyone else does. To me that’s a reason to blatantly dislike something until the thing proves its likability by its own merit, not popular opinion.
But TSwift did. I’ve watched her for awhile. I resisted liking her. Despite the fact that some of my younger inside people like 1989 and think she’s super pretty and sweet and funny (which she really seems to be), I still didn’t want to like her. I was being a snobby adult looking down on the latest fad embraced by the resident teenagers.
But she won me over. Her philanthropism, her class, her calm and level responses to criticism when she could have turned it into a big brouhaha, her generosity toward people in tragic circumstances… all of these things won me over. So now I’ve been watching to try to figure out whether she is also, in fact, a TBMC multiple. I can’t really find the landslide of evidence that I can find for most others who genuinely appear to be. (I say “appear to be,” because people like me are never truly going to know for certain, but all the signs really point to it.) Honestly for the more blatant ones, the evidence is not something you have to look real hard for.
For example, if you were to Google Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Amanda Bynes, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Selena (do I need to keep going?)…you wouldn’t have to look that far to find plenty of interesting signs and indicators to consider.
But when I Google “Taylor Swift mind control” or any number of variations, it turns up…not that much of anything. Which – for the internet – is pretty shocking. Even if I just Google “Taylor Swift” and switch to the “Images” tab, there are only maybe TWO pictures out of many, many, many scrolls with the mouse that show her with one eye covered, or dressed in anything telling, or in a scene that makes me suspicious, or with a finger against her lips in the “shhhh” gesture, or making a pyramid with her hands, or etc.
But at the same time, when I watch “Shake it Off” on YouTube, there are some concerning elements. The feathers in the ballerina costume, the animal prints, the particularly risqué outfit, the gold snake around her neck, the cat sweatshirt and cat eyeliner style, the black and white stripes on her hat… These add up. And there’s one instance when she is supposedly trying to imitate someone doing cool things with their hands where she sets herself up for the camera angle and puts her hands into a starting position of – guess what? – a triangle (pyramid).
“Blank Space” has many more elements of concern. The whole black widow storyline is a red flag, and it would be even without the cat eyeliner, the switching back and forth from black clothes to white, more animal prints, symbolically (psychically) “killing” the men as per the black widow thing, the Eve and her apple scene, etc… Quite frankly it’s a disturbing video. And the imagery is a little too en pointe for my liking.
“Bad Blood” – which tbh I only watched for the purpose of writing this blog post – is equally disturbing. It opens with TSwift doing a heist with a fellow criminal, only to be double-crossed by her partner and killed by being pushed out a glass window while the partner escapes with the stolen goods. The rest of the video appears to be her being “rebuilt,” along with an entire backup team, in a hospital/lab. She learns other skills and collaborates with other team members and gains access to weapons/powers with which she can use to take her revenge. Sound familiar? Themes of betrayal, death, being rebuilt, multiplying from a single to a team, lots of scenes of shit being shattered (hmmmm) and blown up, etc This video also has the only picture I can find of her with one eye covered by her hair.
But still…all things considered…is there any way she can NOT be?
And my question is – if she’s really a Hollywood Monarch like so many others – what’s the agenda behind making us like her so much? It’s not rhetorical. I’m genuinely curious. Or is she a needed distraction from something else going on?
You know…just typical shit I think about on a Saturday. Bahaha. Cheers. ~J8
